So I did not get get the VT job I mentioned. Apparently the other candidate had more of a "reading background" or something. I was feeling super bummed about this, as rejection after rejection really piles on until it's almost too much to handle.

Then I got the brilliant idea to feel better by getting start on my most useless (but totally fun) Mission 101 goal: bring back the polls. Since "summer" (aka working and tutoring but at least getting up slightly later?) will be here soon, it just seemed like the time.

[Poll #2014935]

Thank you for helping me cheer up by being part of such ridiculous endeavors! <3

Solved it by using a browser to view rather than my silly lj app. Didn't answer the Inside Out one bc I wasn't sure what you meant..but now I'm intrigued by the movie.
What I remember liking most in school in my younger grades was out of the ordinary projects and such...spending weeks on activities related to the Oregon Trail and westward expansion, having a multicultural fair with plays and food.. and I liked art and music classes, and the things I was good at bc I was good at them :). Namely grammar/spelling and writing.

Only seen one of those Chris Pratt movies and don't recall him in it.

Water with natural flavor added, I.e. lemon juice, lime juice, etc. is my choice no calorie beverage.

Yeah, I tried the LJ app on my phone for one day and that was that...doesn't seem to do the logical things!

Agreed! In fact my whole "philosophy of education" essay is about how those types of hands-on experiences can change a child's whole view/understanding of something and make a mark in their minds the way simple reading/writing/discussion simply can't.

That is a nice idea (though I think the natural flavor probably has like 2 calories or something :P)!
