Okay, so, this past weekend Jasmine and I watched the 1994 miniseries version of The Stand (after having both read the novel, which rules). It may have been the Sparks, or the fact that we're both crazy, but we were both under the impression that this miniseries contained a serious plague...of HOTNESS.

So, naturally a poll is necessary. Please feel free to look at the following photos and vote for who you think the hottest actor from The Stand is. Actually, forget feeling free - just do it!

My nightmare

This was from when I was 5, and it still haunts me. I was one of many people in a 'wearing furs' tribe, all in the middle of this floating circle of ice. One by one people kept disappearing and as time went on I saw tentacles reaching over the edge of the ice and grabbing people, then yanking them underwater. All of a sudden I realised I was the only one left, huddled right in the middle of the ice. I looked down, and through the ice I could see this giant eye staring at me hungrily.

At the time that sent me racing out of bed screaming. Nowadays it just sends a shiver down my spine, and makes me wonder where on earth that dream came from, as I'd never watched any film or red any book like it at the time.

Children often have intense imaginations like that. I know I had some seriously crazy dreams, based off of absolutely nothing experienced in real life, in my own childhood.

In any case, I don't blame you for still being haunted by this one - it sounds beyond frightening.
