I clicked "other" because I am pedantic and my mind resists clicking the box! Although my family celebrates Passover, it's not something I'd phrase as celebrating 'instead of Easter' or whatever. The two have nothing to do with each other, at least from the Jewish point of view.
This comes out more during the Christmas season because it drives me *nuts* when people lump Chanukah in with it, in the expectation that if they're celebrating then everyone should, as though communal observance of the force-fed holiday is good for everyone, even those who have no desire to observe it. Jews don't need pity holidays fluffed up because they happen to fall around the same time as Christian holidays. Their actual holidays are pretty awesome taken in by themselves.
