First of all, I wanted to say hello to the massive amounts of people I just added from [livejournal.com profile] fanmoot (okay, so maybe it was only six or seven people). Hello!

I briefly considered making an intro post, so you guys could get to know me and all, but then I realized that now is not the time, as I'm very deep in the midst of a quarter-life crisis where I can't really say I know who I am or what the the hell I'm doing. Fun times. :)

Anyway, I'm really sick right now and about to barf from the codeine-laden cough syrup which is the only thing keeping me from hacking all night long.

...yet I still feel like making a poll! Here's a poll:

[Poll #1166519]

I hate having to choose between this horrible nausea/headache and that horrible cough. I really miss not feeling like total crap. :(

First one to answer! I mean, other than you, of course. I am so cool.

Interesting quiz!

On the last one I was about to write that I went up the Space Needle in Seattle last week, but then I remembered what I did on New Years. I also saw Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band this year, but that comes in a distant third, even though I'm in luv with Max Weinberg.

I'm not sure if my answer to the last question is crazy or cool, but it's definitely the most interesting thing that happened to me this year. That saddens me in a way.

"If you were given the opportunity to take a free college course in any subject (an extra one if you're in college right now), what subject would you choose? It can be absolutely anything - even a subject you make up yourself would be perfectly fine."

I know I said Ugh. What I really meant was intensive elementary French.

I've never actually died in a dream, but I always had these falling nightmares as a kid, and I'd wake up just before I landed. I figure those are close enough to count as "dying".

Top Bunk > Bottom Bunk. Lived in a quad last year on the top bunk. Every time the girl on the bottom rolled over, my bunk shook, and I worried that the top bunk will fall down. I'd hate to have been on the bottom worrying that the top bunk would fall down on top of me.

Aw, give yourself a break - we haven't even had four full months of 2008 yet.

They sound like basically the same subject to me. :)

I wouldn't actually count those as dying, but since I didn't give any specific criteria for this question, whatever. :D

I think they both have their bad points. I had a rather traumatic fall from a top bunk in my childhood and I spent one summer at camp sleeping on a top bunk that was ridiculously hard to get on top of, so there's where my reasoning is.

Because everybody would pick that option if it were available? :)

Re: the bunkbed question... I currently sleep in a bunk bed, due to the fact that I share a small-ish room with three other girls. I sleep on the top, and I don't mind, but it is really annoying to climb up the ladder and climb down, especially if I have to go pee in the middle of the night, because the bed makes SO much noise. Also, if I'm reading or something in bed, I have to get out to put my book away, I can't just set it down next to me on the floor. Oh, and since I use my cell phone as my alarm clock, if it falls out of bed I have to do some serious searching when it goes off in the morning, haha.

Re: the dream question -- I often have dreams where there are people trying to kill me, but I don't think I've actually died in a dream.
