Mostly unrelated questions yet again, but questions that need your answers! Yes, sir.
[Poll #2015584]
And if you missed week one of this integral part of everyone's life, the beginning poll is over here.

Date: 2015-07-01 03:04 am (UTC)I think I've watched the pilot ep of The Sopranos, and maybe not even that all the way.
I don't think a *random* stranger could guess where I was from based on appearance, but someone who shares my heritage would be pretty likely to, actually, as I would with them.
Icelandic and the Rubik's cube thing are both thempting, and I wouldn't mind learning to make balloon animals either, though I doubt I have the gift for it. I was able to do a Rubik's Cube pretty quickly at some point, and I'm good with languages, so those two things would be easier, probably.
I don't order stuff at Starbucks very often, and when I do, it's usually a Frappucino or a chai latte (which I suppose can be counted under "tea"?), but occasionally I've had other things there, or would consider doing so.

Date: 2015-07-01 10:59 am (UTC)Same as Anna re: nationality question, anyone from post-soviet space might with a chance of 50/50 assume I have southern/Caucasian roots (not the race, the um, region). People from the Middle-east have expressed similar thoughts, though it's more of a stretch. I don't think that registers for Western Europeans or Americans that don't have any similar heritage -- or not in my experience.

Date: 2015-07-01 01:53 pm (UTC)In my mind, it's fairly easy to guess what my heritage is (Indian), but I've been mistaken for various backgrounds--Moroccan, Egyptian, from a (undetermined) Spanish speaking background... I've had Indians ask if I'm Indian. On the other hand, I only need to open my mouth for anyone to know I'm American.
Being an adult is overrated.
